Assistant Secretary General of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP ) Abdullah al-Ahmar discussed on Wednesday with delegation of the Chinese Communist Party headed by Majin Ho, Chairman of the United Front in Ningxia Autonomous Region of Moslem nationality, the firm relations between the two friendly parties and countries and the necessity of boosting them in the economic and culture domains.
Al-Ahmar reviewed stances of the BASP and Syria over latest developments in the region, asserting keenness on exerting efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the international legitimacy resolutions to end the occupation of Arab lands in the Syrian Golan, Palestinian territories and in south Lebanon as well as to ensure security and prosperity for peoples of the region.
For his part, Head of the Chinese delegation expressed his party and country's support to Syria's right in the restoration of the occupied Golan and appreciation for the process of reform and modernization under the leadership of President Bashar Assad.
