Rector of the Chinese Foreign Studies University hailed on Wednesday the strong ties linking Syria and China as well as the cultural heritage they might bring.
Opening an art exhibition on the 50 Anniversary for establishing ties between the two countries, the rector called youth in both countries to follow up developing these ties and carrying them up to a wider space.
The exhibition contained plastic art panels and photos about tourism in Syria pointing to the state of stability and civilized harmony Syria enjoys.
Ambassador to China Mohammed Kheir al-Wadi pointed out to the significance of the event that is considered among first festivities the embassy organizing in this respect.
Folklore dancing and songs speaking about Syria’s popular heritage performed in the ceremony.
