President Bashar al-Assad received Sunday a message from Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Seleh on the latest developments in the region and the bilateral relations.
The message was handed over to President al-Assad by Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qurbi during a meeting in which the two sides underscored the significance of continued coordination and consultation between Syria and Yemen to serve interests of the two sisterly countries and peoples and help boosting the joint Arab action.

Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad and Yemeni Ambassador in Damascus Salah Ahmad Ali al-A'nasi attended the meeting.
